The beginning of May 2019 saw James and Sud take a trip to San Francisco to visit our clients at the US Loqate office. This was to get the ball rolling for our next big Account Based Marketing Campaign with Loqate, a GBG Solution.
They have some seriously interesting address verification technology and when it comes to helping brands improve their online shopping experience and customer satisfaction they are number one.
It was really exciting to get some insight on their products and goals and start building a good relationship with the American team.
Talking of getting the ball rolling, we took some time out from working hard to go and watch the San Francisco Giants at AT & T Park. All-American baseball was really cool to see – Sud got the beers in and even though the game finished 10-5 to Pittsburgh the atmosphere was electric.
That’s not all we got the chance to do, either. Trying the local cuisine was high on our list of things to do when we had worked up a hunger with the Loqate guys and just from the picture, you can see America’s reputation for big portions and amazing food is still intact.
Of course, a trip to San Francisco wouldn’t be complete without getting up close and personal with the infamous Golden Gate Bridge, which looks just as picture perfect in real life as it does on a postcard. This picture isn’t even edited – just James’ raw photography skills!
Our couple of days in the city flew by and we didn’t get a chance to see and do everything, but it was an amazing (and successful) ABM trip. The real purpose of our trip was to build rapport and align the sales and marketing and we think we nailed it. Hopefully we’ll have the chance to do it again very soon!
